MANUEL BELGRANO El gran patriota que fue intelectual, economista, periodista, político, abogado y militar • Nacido el 3 de junio de 1770 en Buenos Aires en el seno de una acomodada familia porteña, la del comerciante italiano Domingo Belgrano y Pérez (o Peri) y la criolla María Josefa González Casero, Manuel José Joaquín del Corazón de Jesús Belgrano se educó en el Real Colegio de San Carlos con la mejor formación que podía encontrarse en la colonia en el último cuarto del siglo XVIII, aprendiendo junto con las primeras letras “la gramática latina, filosofía y algo de teología”.
