(Primera Guerra Médica), la cual fue dirigida por Darío I, rey persa en contra de los estados de la antigua Gracia. La segunda en el año 480 a.C., dirigida por Jerjes I (Segunda Guerra Médica).

Guerras Médicas • Las guerras Médicas fueron conflictos armados entre los persas y los griegos. Varias de las batallas más significativas de la historia se desarrollaron durante esa época, por ejemplo, las batallas de Maratón, de Termópilas, de Salamina y de Platea.
