Detection Rats / Ratas detectoras

Rats are intelligent animals and can be trained for many jobs. Their excellent sense of smell has lead to rats being trained to do important jobs, including mine detection and sniffing out tuberculosis in people. Age-appropriate vocabulary in English and standard Latin American Spanish support new and emerging readers in both languages, the text paired with interesting photos gives young readers an accessible introduction to the lives of these hard working rodents.
