FIAF, UNE PÉPINIÈRE DE FRANCOPHILES DEPUIS 125 ANS • Rester à la pointe de la culture contemporaine, tout en restant fidèle à plus d’un siècle d’histoire. C’est la mission de Tatyana Franck, qui dirige depuis mars 2022 le French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF). Une institution new-yorkaise, fondée il y a 125 ans, chargée de faire la promotion de la langue française et de la culture francophone. Dans son bureau aux airs d’atelier d’artiste, orné des œuvres contemporaines d’Omar Ba, JR, Prune Nourry ou Eva Jospin, la directrice revient sur les origines, le rôle actuel et les enjeux futurs de FIAF.
