From the USA Today bestselling "master of witty banter" (Entertainment Weekly) comes a hilarious and heartwarming romance about two enemies whose feud turns red-hot.Maya Mehta will do anything to save her tiny, beloved community theater. Put on musicals she hates? Check. Hire an arrogant former-pop-star-turned-actor? Done. But what Maya really needs to save her theater is Matchmaker Bay's new business grant. She's got some serious competition, though: Benjamin "Law" Lawson, local bar owner, Jerk Extraordinaire, and Maya's annoyingly hot arch nemesis. Let the games begin.
Law loves nothing more than getting under Maya's skin, and making those gorgeous eyes dance with irritation. But when he discovers the ex-pop star has a thing for Maya, too, Law decides he's done waiting in the wings-starting with a scorching-hot kiss. Turns out there's a thin line between hate and irresistible desire, and Maya and Law are really good at crossing it. But when things heat up, will they allow their long-standing feud to get in the way of their growing feelings?

Holiday returns to Moonflower Bay, Ontario, in the page-turning third Matchmaker Bay romance (after Paradise Cove). Maya Mehta moved home after college to start her own theater company. Five years later, her theater’s on the verge of shutting down for financial reasons—until Maya learns of a local grant opportunity. There’s just one obstacle: Benjamin “Law” Lawson, owner of Lawson’s Lager House and the man Maya thinks of as her nemesis, is looking to expand his business and also decides to apply for the grant. Maya and Law have made a long-standing habit of getting on each other’s nerves while failing to acknowledge their mutual attraction. But things between them heat up when Maya brings in Holden Hampshire, a former boy-band star, to act opposite her in her latest production, sparking Law’s competitive nature. Their love/hate relationship is further put to the test when they consider a joint application for the grant funding as the solution to their problems. The witty banter between Maya and Benjamin makes the evolution of their relationship thoroughly believable, and their romance is enhanced by the idyllic small-town setting and meddlesome, matchmaking townsfolk. Series fans and new readers alike will find much to love. Agent: Courtney Miller-Callihan, Handspun Literary.

Holiday returns to the Canadian town Moonflower Bay (Paradise Cove, 2020) to visit two people whose feud is about to turn hot. Maya and Law have disliked each other for as long as anyone can remember. What started as a simple tiff when they were young has turned into the basis of their relationship. Maya's theater company is moments away from financial ruin, and she's desperate to keep it afloat. Though she manages to recruit a former boy-band member to join the cast of her summer run of Much Ado About Nothing, it's the community grant that gives her hope for turning the theater around. Too bad her main competition is Law, who wants the grant to fund his new restaurant. The two find themselves at odds again, but it seems like the town's meddling older folks and their late-night truces to watch English soccer matches may turn these enemies into something else. Law and Maya's back and forth is infectious, and their constant sniping gives way to a tenderness that will melt hearts.
