Juan José Castelli • Fue abogado, funcionario y político de las Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata. Participó activamente en el movimiento juntista que se produjo en Buenos Aires en el mes de mayo de 1810. Por su discurso en el Cabildo Abierto del día 22 se le atribuy ó el sobrenombre de «el Orador de Mayo». Fue elegido como vocal de la efímera junta de gobierno del 24 de mayo y de la Primera Junta de gobierno de la actual República Argentina.
